KIRKUK, Iraq, 14 October 2026 – ITS has won and delivered two tenders from North Gas Company (NGC), a company of Iraq’s Ministry of Oil, for mechanical seals made by Seoul Tech of South Korea.
The tenders followed a factory visit. On 16 December 2024, ITS took two NGC engineers to Seoul Tech’s factory in Gimpo, South Korea, so that NGC could judge the quality of the seals before buying them. The delegation, led by Omar Farooq Al Obaidi, Managing Director, CEO of ITS, and Farooq Mahmood Al Obaidi, Commercial Manager of ITS, met Seoul Tech’s management and technical team, discussed the seal models NGC needs for its pumps, and toured the machining shop and the warehouse.
After the visit, Seoul Tech approved its agency agreement with ITS in February 2025, and ITS went on to win both NGC tenders and supply the seals. To enquire about mechanical seals, contact the ITS desk in Kirkuk.
