ITS completes a calibration room for North Gas Company

The ITS team assembled a Time Electronics CalBench in North Gas Company’s workshop in Kirkuk, giving NGC a station to calibrate pressure, temperature and process instruments in-house.

KIRKUK, Iraq, 7 July 2025 – ITS has completed a calibration room for North Gas Company (NGC), a company of Iraq’s Ministry of Oil, in NGC’s workshop in Kirkuk.

At its centre is a CBP-PROC3 CalBench made by Time Electronics in the UK: one station for calibrating pressure, temperature and process instruments, from gauges, transmitters and switches to valves, controllers and recorders, with EasyCal software to run each calibration and print its record. NGC’s engineers had already trained on this same bench at the factory, and it was inspected by Bureau Veritas before it left for Iraq.

A team of three from ITS assembled and set up the bench on site, with Omar Farooq Al Obaidi, Managing Director, CEO of ITS, overseeing the work, and Farooq Mahmood Al Obaidi, Commercial Manager of ITS, reviewing the finished room. NGC accepted the room on completion, and its workshop can now calibrate its instruments in-house.
