Azbil Corporation (formerly Yamatake Corporation) is a Japanese automation company built on measurement and control technology, organized into three businesses: Building Automation, Advanced Automation, and Life Automation. Within Advanced Automation it designs, manufactures, and services control valves, smart valve positioners, actuators, and control-valve maintenance support systems for process plants across oil and gas, chemicals, steel, paper, and food. The company produced Japan’s first domestically made control valve in 1936.
