Nippon Pillar
PILLAR Corporation (formerly Nippon Pillar Packing Co., Ltd.) is a Japanese manufacturer of fluid-sealing products — mechanical seals, gland packing and gaskets — for rotating and process equipment such as centrifugal pumps, valves and piping. The company developed Japan’s first mechanical seal in 1951 and traces its origin to a 1924 alloy “pillar” packing for marine engines. A separate electronic-equipment division produces fluororesin (PTFE) fittings, valves and pumps for semiconductor, LCD and medical fluid-handling.
ITS supplies Nippon Pillar equipment into Iraq — sourced from the maker, inspected at origin, delivered with legalised documents and commissioned on site.
